While ACL injuries are common in all sports, they are not often discussed in the baseball population. There is a heavy amount of new research that can give us clues as to how to safely return athletes to sport following ACL reconstruction, which has become a hot topic issue in the sports rehabilitation world. This article discusses some of these research findings as well as some considerations that should be made for athletes returning to baseball after ACL reconstruction.
